Creating Rituals

In our American culture, rituals have all but vanished outside of things like celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, marriages, and funerals. Rituals, however, play an extremely important role in society. Rituals not only serve to remind us of what is important, they help us with the difficult transition periods in our lives, to remember to celebrate, and to provide a sense of stability and continuity in our lives. We can also use rituals to help us stay focused and reach our goals. In this class participants will learn the building blocks, the important ingredients to creating a ritual and how to use rituals, how to create a sacred space in one’s home and how to use rituals to enrich one’s life.
