Heart Center Class & Meditation

Heart symbolism is present in almost every culture. In ancient cultures, the functions we attribute to the brain were actually believed to be that of the heart. If you were to ask a Westerner where, in their body, do they live most people will point to their head. If you ask indigenous peoples who still live close to the earth the same question, they will point to their heart. This meditation class will focus on your heart center, the spiritual center, the Anahata, which is a concept in Hindu, Shakta, and Buddhist Tantric traditions, that refers to the unstruck sound of the celestial realm, a place of peace, serenity and calmness.
